'reilly. thanks for watching us tonight. another $100 million of american tax money heading to haiti. that is the subject of this evening's talking points memo. world is cringing looking at pictures like these caused by that terrible earthquake in haiti. no one knows for sure but the death toll could top 100,000. right now lives are in the balance as there are folks alive in the rubble. already, thousands of american military are going to haiti, trying to save lives and impose some kind of order there. today, president obama pledged an enormous amount of money. >> i'm also announcing an iminvestment of $100 million to support our relief efforts. this will mean more of the life-saving equipment food water and medicine that will be needed. this investment will grow over the coming year as we embark on the long-term recovery from this unimaginable tragedy. >> bill: since 1992, the beginning of the clinton administration the u.s.a. has given haiti close to $3 billion in assistance and billions more have been donated by other countries. president clinton took a personal interest in improv

for watching us tonight. once again, the great satan comes to a rescue. that is the subject of the talking points memo. antiamerican people overseas call the usa the great satan even though we have done more good on this earth than any other nation in history. once again, the usa responded big to a disaster taking charge in haiti as the american military tries to save as many lives as possible. president obama has pledged $100 million to help the haitian people. that is in addition to the almost $3 billion we have already give than nation since 1992. the heritage foundation estimates that before it is all over the usa will pour another billion dollars into haiti. that counts military expenditures and infrastructure rebuilding. by comparison china has pledged a little more than $5 million in cash and aid. how generous is that. russia pledging one mobile hospital and 20 doctors. hugo chavez winding one plane full of relief supplies. keep your stupid plane. iran sending 30-tons of food and medicine. so far, saudi arabia, a wealthy nation has pledged nothing. so you can see who the good guy in
right now. >>> hi, i'm bill o'reilly. thanks for watching us tonight. haiti, liberal itch in america, that's the subject of this evening's talking points memo. terrible earthquake crushed haiti. the poorest country in the western hemisphere. reports say thousands are dead and this nation may completely collapse. question is, how much should the world do to save haiti? some conservative commentators pointed out it took president obama three days to took about the christmas day terror incident but hours to talk about haiti. they say he should have responded quick tore the underway bomber, but it's appropriate for him to address haiti quickly. the united states is a noble nation and a the world needs to hear that over and over and over. already the u.s. coast guard is saving lives in haiti and america will respond generously to this devastation. we always do. always. as far as haiti is concerned, the usa has given that country more than $1 billion over the past five years. the world bank donated 300 million over the same time. it is clear america is very concerned about the world's poor
